Lemon Pizza: in this case (or perhaps I should say for this pizza) I can say fantasy exceeds reality! And yet, many fans of this pizza can tell it, an unlikely combination between one of the most appreciated product of our Campania, Costa d’Amalfi I.G.P. lemon and provola of bufala Campana, turned out to be excellent and really tasty.
On one hand a positive and radiant fruit like its people, a strong lemon aroma, a juicy flesh and very rich in vitamin C and essential oils, on the other hand not only a product but a real “cultural value” with 500 years of history and important nutritional aspects.
For those few that may not know what are its benefits, mozzarella di bufala Campana is a cheese easily digestible thanks to its low quantity of lactose and cholesterol and it is full of high biological value proteins; in addition it provides a considerable contribution of calcium and phosphorus and vitamin E, B1 , B2, B6 and Niacin… If to all this we add a delicious mortadella you can be sure that you’re going to taste a real delicacy!
